How A Colon Cleansing Diet Can Clear Up Your Colon

  • Colon cleansing helps to remove toxins the result of putrefaction of fecal matter. These toxins can harm your body. If you don’t eliminate them, they will continue to build up within over the years. In addition, the layers of compacted feces present a favorable environment for the harmful bacteria to live. Diseases and sickness soon emerge. Usually after cleansing, you will notice some of diseases disappear.

    Your diet can either slowly kill you or restore your health and vitality. It depends on what you eat. Some undigested food will remain in the colon system for years. Studies show that layers of fecal matter continue to accumulate in the colon if they remain stagnant. Your body cannot remove them on its own. A few years ago, medical professionals debated about the factors that create an effective colon cleansing diet. It may restore your overall health.

    You change your diet by adding more fiber. You need about 25 to 30 grams of fiber in your meal everyday. Eat more fruits, whole grains, and vegetables. Cooked foods take longer time for the body to digest. Therefore, if possible eat them raw. If you plan to make your own fruit juice, make sure you add the pulp.

    Fiber adds mass to the stool and absorbs water to soften the stool. This helps your bowel to move faster and easier. It also cleanses your colon by keeping the colon walls free from body waste and undigested food particles. You may lose weight because of the elimination of fecal matter. But the cleansing diet is not meant for weight loss.

      Fiber is indeed important for colon health. Most people do not like taking fiber, some folks have found a new way of getting fiber… in a cookie. 8 gram in one cookie.
