Colon Cleansing Drinks vs. Colon Irrigation

  • Posted by admin on 24 August 2007
  • Both colon cleansing drinks and colon irrigation (hydrotherapy) help to detoxify your gut system. Which one is more effective?

I find little information about commercial colon cleansing drinks. Some say that they are just a solution with clay. They notice that the eliminated waste from the colon appears in solid shape. It supposed to be soft.

Some believe that it cannot remove the hardened fecal matter in your colon compared with colonic or colon hydrotherapy. Probably it could not soften the fecal matter in the colon.

If you would like to use colon cleansing drink, I suggest that you make one at home. Mix thoroughly the following ingredients in a large jug.

    • 1 tablespoon of benntonite
    • 1 teaspoon of psyllium seed
    • 1/2 cup of apple juice
    • 1/2 cup of aloe vera juice
    • 1/2 cup of steam-distilled water

Drink it once a day. See if you feel any difference after a few days.

Colon irrigation is just like giving your colon a bath. It uses water to flush your colon. The water flows into the colon through the rectum using a tube. It can reach all parts of the large intestine. Therefore, it can eliminate toxins, which have been lying there for decades. To cleanse your colon thoroughly, you need to attend between 6 to 12 sessions.

Without much data on colon cleansing drinks, it may show that its effectiveness is limited. On the other hand, colon irrigation, which has been used since ancient times, can help to restore your colon’s health. Moreover, many doctors recommend colonics in treating constipation and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
